— Next Tuesday’s SmackDown/ECW taping is almost sold out with a $280,000+ advance. It will actually be the first show in the city since hometown wrestler Chris Benoit’s double-murder suicide. It should be noted that there has been zero mention of the murders or any bad press in the city — at least yet. While next Monday’s Raw taping in Calgary isn’t sold out, it is said to be doing fine. Lastly, ticket sales for upcoming live events in Regina, Medicine Hat and Red Deer have been sluggish.
