» The Sun in the UK has an interview up with WWE’s David Hart Smith of The Hart Dynasty where he mentions his disappointment in not being included on the card for SummerSlam in August. “I am little disappointed that we weren’t on the SummerSlam card this year. I feel bar none, not only technically, but if you take a look at the all-round skills that we have, we are probably the strongest tag team contenders in the whole of WWE.”

» Bob Barker was described as being “super popular” backstage at Monday night’s WWE Monday Night Raw taping in Chicago. One WWE source noted that the wrestlers were more excited for him than other post guest hosts such as Shaq, Jeremy Piven and Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

» WWE sent out a survey to the WWE Universe this week asking for feedback about Pay-Per-View events. Several of the questions involved last month’s SummerSlam, including whether they ordered the event, if so, how many people they watched the show with, their favorite match and how this year’s show compared to last year. It’s interesting to note that one of the questions asked, “What other types of pay-per-views do you typically watch?” Among the choices were “Mixed Martial Arts (e.g. UFC)” and “Other Wrestling (e.g. TNA).
