— As noted earlier here on the website, Jenna Morasca’s brief tenure with TNA Wrestling has come to an end. The Survivor star’s contract recently came up for renewal and both sides passed on going forward, according to sources. Morasca arrived in TNA this past March, becoming a “financial backer” for the Main Event Mafia at the insistence of Kevin Nash. She would later become his valet. Morasca’s most notable moment in TNA took place this past July at their Victory Road pay-per-view where she made her wrestling debut. In what would turn out to be her lone wrestling match in TNA, the Survivor star came out on top, defeating Sharmell via pinfall. It was recently reported that she would be taking a leave of absence from the organization to film the 20th season of Survivor, although no indication was given that she would be leaving TNA permanently. Morasca’s last appearance in TNA took place on the August 20, 2009 episode of Impact, accompanying the Main Event Mafia during a promo segment.
— Ticket sales for WWE’s Breaking Point pay-per-view on September 13th at the Bell Centre in Montreal currently sits at approximately 9,000 tickets sold. This can probably be considered a disappointment considering this is WWE’s first pay-per-view in Montreal since February 2003 and the city is historically one of the best wrestling cities in North America.
— Unlike most all WWE drug suspensions, Rey Mysterio’s recent violation of the company’s drug testing policy has garnered all sorts of media coverage in Mexico. The situation between Mysterio and WWE is being covered as a major news story because he’s one of the most popular athletes of any kind in the country.
