As noted yesterday, the word is that Dennis Miller will host the three-hour RAW on November 23rd from Hershey, PA. Rapper Ice-T and wife CoCo are also scheduled to host at some point later this year. More as we get it.
Many within WWE were worried yesterday about UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter reality show doing a higher rating than RAW this week. Since then, the rating for The Ultimate Fighter has come out and it did end up beating RAW for the first time ever. The show did a 3.7 rating, the highest rating ever for The Ultimate Fighter. That rating is ridiculously high and shows that UFC is absolutely on fire these days. The Kimbo Slice vs. Roy Nelson fight ended up doing the highest rating in UFC history for a SpikeTV bout. Kimbo is obviously a massive draw. He will also be signing with UFC whether he wins or loses after the season is over. It’s rumored that he’ll be brought back due to another fighter being injured later in the season on the show. Also note that Kimbo will still appear on a weekly basis as fighters who lose are sent back to the house for the remainder of the season.
There is definitely backstage heat these days on Matt Hardy for obvious reasons. One source told me yesterday “It’s like a high-school drama with the guy.” We’ll have a full updated report shortly.
