There was a legit injury at the Survivor Series PPV as Scott Armstrong, the ref, in the middle of a brawl, saw Sheamus lose his footing and nailed the back of Armstrong’s head with a knee. He suffered a legit concussion and was removed from the match as soon as it happened.
Rey Mysterio has needed surgery for quite some time now. It’s possible that the angle last night at Survivor Series was a way to get him off TV and allow him to get the surgery he needs.
