» TNA only pays their mid-card and under-card wrestlers if they work, and it doesn’t cost them anything if they don’t use them at the tapings opposed to the main eventers who get paid whether they work or just sit around backstage. TNA has a lot of talent under contract right now, and the creative team is said to be under pressure to book as many wrestlers as possible per taping because they know they aren’t getting paid unless they work.
» As noted earlier, AJ Styles and Vince Russo had a blow up several weeks ago, due to the way AJ is being booked. Basically AJ was upset, because going into Bound for Glory, he did a 20-minute draw with Kurt Angle, with the idea that they would do a program after the PPV. AJ feels that the Angle program would help prove that he deserves to be champion, but now that McGuinness has been brought in, there are no plans in the foreseeable future for Angle vs. AJ. Creative wants to still do the program, but they don’t know how to do it.
