Here is the latest on WWE programming in Canada. Global TV had decided to interrupt WWE programming, but have stated that it will return on January 18th. ECW will stay on the newly reported time of 3AM-4AM on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
For WWE viewers in Quebec, RAW will air on Wednesday night/Thursday morning from 2AM-4AM. Smackdown will air on Thursday night/Friday morning from 2AM-4AM.
As noted earlier, he main event of Friday’s WWE Smackdown will Batista vs. Rey Mysterio in a steel cage match. The winner will face the Undertaker for the World Title at the Royal Rumble.
Tonight’s main event for ECW on SyFy will be the ECW Homecoming Battle Royal, with the winner facing Christian for the ECW Title at the Royal Rumble. Competing in the battle royal tonight are: CM Punk, Yoshi Tatsu, Ezekiel Jackson, Kane, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy and Vance Archer.
