The WWE Releases, Three-Hours Of TNA On 3/15, J.R/Swagger

— Several Connecticut newspapers today are reporting on the investigation into steroid use in WWE in 2007-08. The story says that Linda McMahon is lucky there was never a follow-up to the initial investigation as it could have caused problems for her campaign.

— Jim Ross and Jack Swagger are at tonight’s Oklahoma City Thunder game against the Toronto Raptors to promote Monday’s RAW.

— Devin Cutting sent this along: The third episode of TNA Epics, which focuses on the X-Division, has been moved to March 15 at 8PM. TNA iMPACT! will then air at 9PM. March 15th’s RAW will be hosted by Stone Cold Steve Austin, so many see this as an attempt to bring viewers to TNA before Stone Cold gets on the air.

— The Charlie Haas WWE firing brings the total to 5 releases since Friday. Aside from Charlie Haas, Shane Helms, Paul Burchill, WWE Diva Maria and referee Scott Armstrong were also released on Friday. For those wondering, more WWE releases are expected in the coming weeks.
