— We hope to have a full quarter hour breakdown later today, but we can report that the segment on TNA iMPACT! featuring The Pope and Chelsea and Samoa Joe’s return did a dismal 0.5 quarter hour. On the flip side, the Shawn Michaels farewell speech did a 4.1 quarter hour.

— TNA President Dixie Carter took to her official Twitter page last night and seemed to address the lower rating for iMPACT! Monday night (which drew a disappointing 0.6 cable rating) along with a mention about Shawn Michaels. “Thank goodness he can only retire once…hopefully. Shawn, congrats on an amazing career!”

— As noted earlier here on the website, Bret Hart stated in a recent interview that he never intended to wear his pink and black ring gear in his match with Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 26. Hart said he didn’t want to wear his old ring gear because he wasn’t in the same shape as he was the last time he wore them and didn’t want to ruin his legacy. He added he wanted the pink and black to be remembered for great wrestling matches.
