More iMPACT! Ratings Data (Not Good), DiBiase/HOF, WEC, Linda

» Have a great weekend everyone. Be safe if you’re drinking. We’ve got ESPN2’s Friday Night fights tonight and then a HUGE night of fights tomorrow night. On free HBO, we’ve got Devon Alexander vs. Juan Urango (WBC/IBF junior welterweight unification). On free Showtime, we’ve got Vic Darchinyan vs. Rodrigo Guerrero (WBC/WBA junior bantamweight championship). Then also for FREE on the Versus network, we’ve got the WEC event which is headlined by Brian Bowles vs. Dominick Cruz. The card also features Miguel Torres vs. Joseph Benavidez and Jens Pulver vs. Javier Vazquez. That’s a good little card for WEC and a GREAT night of fights (and drinking!) as well. » Some more information on TNA’s rating this week. Despite Eric Bischoff blaming last week’s rating on the Olympics, the rating went down for last night’s show with no Olympics. As noted earlier, the show did a 1.14 (1.1) cable rating with 1.5 million viewers. The lowest rated quarter-hours were the last two, closing with a 0.9 for the Hogan-Flair segment. The first hour averaged a decent 1.3, but from there the show lost viewers in each segment.

» For those who missed it earlier, Angelo Poffo’s funeral will take place at St. Joseph Church, 4824 Highland Ave., Downers Grove, IL 60515-3615. on Monday at 10AM.

» Rob Simmons’ campaign has launched the “Linda McMahon Accountability Clock.” The clock counts down the number of days that she has avoided answering 10 questions posed to her by Simmons regarding her time in WWE. You can see the clock at http://joinrobsimmons.com/accountability On a side note, this Simmons guy seems like a real tool. He’s running a nasty campaign against Linda which doesn’t always work out in your favor when it comes to politics.
