On her Twitter account, Awesome Kong confirmed her departure from TNA Wrestling.

She wrote: “I have asked for and received an early release from my contract. I would like to thank TNA for their support in this matter.”

Kong’s profile was removed from TNA’s website earlier this week, which is their unofficial way of confirming a wrestler’s departure from the organization.
