— WWE is working on two new DVD projects. The first one would be an Elimination Chamber DVD Anthology, featuring matches from the gimmick’s history, dating back to 2002. The second DVD is described as some sort of “Raw Anthology” set, featuring complete episodes of Raw from the show’s first year in 1993.

— In today’s wrestling birthday, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake turns 53 years old.

— The April 9 episode of Friday Night SmackDown! scored a 1.9 broadcast rating with 3,065,000 viewers.

— As reported earlier, three-time WWE Tag Team Champion Joey Mercury worked a dark match prior to last night’s television tapings in Uncasville, Connecticut. For those curious, he is indeed under contract to WWE as he signed on with the company late last year.
