— Jerry Lawler has announced that he will be starting “Jerry Lawler’s Memphis Wrestling,” with the first TV taping tonight at 6:30 PM. Here is Lawler’s announcement… “Hey. I want to invite all my “Memphis Friends” to join me live at the debut taping of my new TV Wrestling show, this Thursday, May 20, 2010, at 6:30 pm. The location is, “The Vine”, 1819 Madison Avenue, Memphis, TN. It’s the building right next to Neil’s near the corner of Madison and Mclean. 12 live wrestling matches… all for FREE!! First come first admitted…seating is limited to 200 so be there early!” The series will debut on Ion Network Channel 50 in Memphis on June 5th at 11AM.
— The theme song for the TNA Slammiversary PPV is Taproots’ “Fractured (Everything I Said Was True).” The song will debut tonight on iMPACT!, and be used in a video dedicated to Kurt Angle.
