According to The Connecticut Mirror, Linda McMahon’s final Republican opposition, Rob Simmons, has dropped out of the Republican Senatorial race. Simmons is still leaving his name on the primary ballot, as a sign that he is not endorsing McMahon for the candidacy.
Linda will now battle Democrat Richard Blumenthal for the senate seat. It seems as though she’s got a very good shot at winning.
