NXT Invasion Last Night At MSG, Ricky Steamboat Returns, & More

— The main event of last night’s WWE Supershow at Madison Square Garden saw John Cena defeat Sheamus. At the end of the match, Wade Barrett came down and attacked John Cena. The rest of the NXT Rookies came in and beat Cena down. The show ended when Randy Orton, R-Truth, Edge, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry and Evan Bourne hit the ring to clear house of the Rookies.

— Devin sent the following: The Score in Canada will be airing NXT on Wednesday, June 23rd at 9 PM instead of Thursday, June 24th due to the NBA draft. NXT returns to Thursdays the following week.

— WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat teamed with his son Richie at the FCW Father’s Day Salute show last night to defeat SmackDown’s Trent Baretta & Caylen Croft in a 21 minute match. The Dragon worked most of the match as his son’s knee was still taped up from a recent injury. NXT and WWE stars on the show included Yoshi Tatsu, Tyler Reks, Lucky Cannon, Vance Archer, Curt Hawkins, Eli Cottonwood, The Uso’s, Alex Riley and Husky Harris.
