Ricky Steamboat is currently in stable condition in Tampa, FL following what is believed to be a brain aneurysm. Steamboat had a surgical procedure done yesterday to determine the severity of the aneurysm. No word yet on when he will get out of the hospital but it won’t be anytime soon.
Steamboat was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after having severe neck and shoulder pains. He had been in Tampa working with WWE developmental. WWE claims that Steamboat’s issues have nothing to do with the angle from RAW where he was attacked by Nexus, but a lot of people in the company are nervous that the two may be related. Nexus isn’t being blamed but a lot of people are unhappy about the situation.
Steamboat’s son Richie put the following on his Twitter page last night.
“Keep my dad in your thoughts & prayers. The issues are worse than expected but he could be worse. God will help him through it!!!”
