— The plan for today at the WWE NXT and SmackDown! tapings will go something like this. I’ve got two guys down at the arena today texting me with arrivals. Those will be taking place between 12-3EST this afternoon. We’ll do posts on all the arrivals as well as backstage news between 3-5EST. I’ll be here until about 7EST when I’ll put the LIVE WZR Radio posts on the website. I’ll then leave here for the arena and then we’ll go live with WZR Radio at 8EST from inside the arena. I’ll come in after every match with the result. There will be silence (crowd noise) while matches are ongoing and then I’ll come back on for a few minutes at a time. It’s going to be a VERY busy day/night so check back in often for breaking news and arrivals from the WWE NXT and SmackDown! tapings from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY!!

— Chris Jericho has just finished the final edit of his new book, which is said to be better than his first book. The book is expected to be released in February of 2011.

— MVP recently shot down rumors on his Twitter that he would be debuting a new “rapper” gimmick. He posted the following… A) my name is not Alvin Burke B) I’m not working on a “rapper” gimmick! C) My new intro will debut soon with me & Cenas project to follow. Not sure where these rumors started but we never reported them here on this website.

— As reported earlier, Terry Funk will be at Ring of Honor’s internet PPV Glory By Honor IX on September 11 in New York City. He will be the ringside enforcer for the ROH championship match between Tyler Black and Roderick Strong. The show is sold out. I will be there live covering this event for the site.
