As noted earlier today here on the website and on TNAWrestlingNews.com, former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James is expected to sign a contract with TNA Wrestling today — if she hasn’t already. Those close to the situation have indicated that James would finalize her contract today, but additional details are not available at press time. It appears as though the two sides have definitely agreed to a verbal deal though.
Despite her release from World Wrestling Entertainment earlier this year and simultaneous foray into the country music world, James continued her wrestling career as she has appeared on numerous independent shows since that time.
According to one source, James is expected to debut in October, likely at the October 7th live TNA iMPACT! or the October 10th TNA Bound For Glory PPV.
