— I hope the coverage of the WWE NXT and SmackDown! tapings yesterday was decent enough for you all. That was a brutal work day to say the least. I hope the NXT and SD! coverage from inside the arena on WZR Radio last night was OK as well. That is VERY hard to do with all the noise so hopefully the show came across as listenable for all of you. I’d really like to hear your thoughts on yesterdays coverage. You can email me (Ryan Clark) at Webmaster@ProWrestlingSCOOPS.com. It only takes a second to send me an email and I NEED your feedback to see if we should do it again next time WWE is back here in Albany, NY. Thanks again for your continued support of the website.
— As noted earlier, Chris Jericho’s WWE contract is set to expire soon, and as of last week a new deal has not been signed. Jericho wants to stay with WWE but the two sides are at an impasse, possibly having to do with the number of dates he has to work each month. Jericho wants a lighter schedule to accommodate other ventures but WWE doesn’t want to set a precedent for people who don’t have the same tenure of people like the Undertaker.
— WWE NXT ring announcer Jamie Keyes confirmed on her Twitter account yesterday afternoon that the Rookies and Pros for the third season of NXT would be announced during this week’s NXT broadcast which they were. She wrote, “In Albany waiting for the season finale of NXT 2 and the introductions of the rookies/pros for NXT 3!!! This is going to be a BIG NIGHT!!”
