Tara had just won the belt from Angelina Love at Sunday night’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view. A match did not take place as Tara laid down for Rayne, allowing her to pin her and win the Women’s Knockouts Championship. Rayne’s victory over Tara marks as the ninth Women’s Knockouts Championship switch of 2010.

— Mickie James made her TNA in-ring debut during this week’s TNA Xplosion television taping, defeating Sarita.

— Reaction within World Wrestling Entertainment to rival promotion TNA Wrestling landing Jersey Shore star Jenni “Jwoww” Farley for a television appearance was to ignore the matter and not counter with a celebrity. Many within WWE feel that the idea will fail because the news media views them as the only professional wrestling company.
