Not only was it Vince McMahon’s call to plug TNA star Mick Foley’s new book “Countdown to Lockdown” on last week’s taped episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, but it was also his call to have WWE.com’s Joey Styles conduct an interview with Foley to help promote it online as well.
According to a source, McMahon made mention of Foley in WWE circles after reading a blog post by Foley being critical of the media attempting to make the U.S. Senate race in Connecticut involving Linda McMahon about pro wrestling.
A WWE source added, “Vince liked that. I guess he liked it a lot.”
