The special was recorded last Saturday at Ft. Hood TX. “Miss USA” Rima Fakih, Sherri Shepherd, Trace Adkins, Cedric the Entertainer, Ariel Winter and Diddy-Dirty Money are set to make guest appearances.
No matches for the special have been announced. Shawn Michaels was at the show, but it’s unknown if he’ll be on the NBC special.
The complete two-hour version of WWE Tribute To The Troops will air Wednesday, December 22nd on USA.
WWE created a special stage and set for the show. John Cena noted WWE went for “WrestleMania level” production value for the special.
“This is a stage fitting for WrestleMania from a production standpoint,” John Cena said. “We’ve put our best foot forward.”
