Daniel Bryan Misses WWE Event, Orton/Cena, Carlito Update

— Daniel Bryan was not in attendance for last night’s Montgomery, Alabama house show. Bryan was in Melrose, Massachusetts doing an MWF show to make up for an appearance he had to miss when he re-signed with WWE.

— The dark match main event for January 31st’s RAW in Providence, Rhode Island will be John Cena & Randy Orton vs. The Miz & CM Punk. Michael Cole will be the special guest referee.

— Carlito lost the WWC Universal Title to Mesias over the weekend.

— The Post and Courier has an interview with Tom Cole at http://www.postandcourier.com/ Cole was a former ring attendant in the WWF as in the 1980s and stated that he was fired after refusing to have sex with agent Terry Garvin was assaulted by former ring announcer Mel Phillips. Both Phillips and Garvin were fired after Cole complained. Cole said that he doesn’t have any hard feelings toward WWE and even gave $100 to Linda McMahon’s US Senate campaign.
