NJPW News: A New Title, Big Venue Change, More

— When New Japan Pro Wrestling tours the US in May, they will crown the first ever IWGP Intercontinental champion.

— NJPW is changing their initial plans to run in Brooklyn, and will now be running Basketball City (Pier 36 @ South Street) in New York City. ROH has used that venue in the past.

— On May 16th there will be some form of fan gathering, as well as some form of press event in New York to kick off the tour.

— If the initial tour goes well, New Japan plans to do additional US tours in the future.
