— A number of WWE stars were trending worldwide topics last night on Twitter during the Royal Rumble including Alberto Del Rio, Booker T, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Kelly Kelly and Kevin Nash.

— Three WWE Superstars that were advertised on WWE.com for last night’s 40-Man Royal Rumble Match were ultimately excluded: Darren Young, David Hart Smith and Primo.

Nine additional slots were opened as a result (there were six open slots before the pay-per-view). The slots were filled by Kevin Nash (referred to as Diesel), Booker T, Alex Riley, Chavo Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler, Hornswoggle, Randy Orton, The Great Khali and Tyler Reks.
