Huge Matches Added To WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV

— It’s been absolutely freakin’ crazy w/ both traffic and news today. We’re at WrestleMania-like levels. I don’t expect things to slow down much today with SD!/NXT and TNA iMPACT! tapings. We’ll also have post Royal Rumble and RAW news and rumors. We’re also set to get 20-30 inches of snow here in Albany, NY today/tomorrow but we plan to be here as long as everything goes well. — An unprecedented RAW Rumble Match featuring seven WWE Superstars — John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Sheamus, R-Truth and Jerry “The King” Lawler — was held this week on RAW to determine WWE Champion The Miz’s sole opponent at WWE Elimination Chamber on February 20, 2011.

The battle royal concluded with Jerry Lawler eliminating Sheamus for the victory. He will therefore challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship in three weeks.

— The six losing participants of this week’s RAW Rumble Match — John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Sheamus and R-Truth — were determined as the participants of the RAW brand’s Elimination Chamber Match at WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on February 20, 2011.

Lawler won the RAW Rumble Match to receive a WWE Championship opportunity against The Miz at Elimination Chamber.
