— As noted earlier here on the website, this week’s edition of WWE RAW drew a 3.14 (3.1) cable rating, with 4,761,000 viewers. The show did hours of 3.03 (3.0) and 3.25 (3.3). It should be noted that The Rock’s TV return during the 20-minute over-run segment averaged 5.70 million viewers. That means that from the first hour to the over-run, RAW increased by nearly one million viewers. The real test will be next week now that fans know who the WrestleMania host is.
— The 2/12 edition of AM RAW drew a 0.31 (0.3) cable rating, with 353,000 viewers.
— Obviously The Rock’s return to pro wrestling is great for WWE, TNA, ROH and wrestling as a whole. This creates more buzz & interest in the current pro wrestling scene which is obviously good news for all wrestling companies and fans alike.
