Update: The Iron Sheik Undergoes 9-Hour Surgery

The Iron Sheik told Howard Stern Howard 100 News that he had a nine-hour ankle surgery this week. The surgery was only supposed to last four hours but he had so many problems with the angle they had to take longer to repair it.

The Sheik was released and is now recovering at home, with expectations that his ankle will be fine.
