One of the main reasons Joanie “Chyna” Laurer was brought into TNA had to do with original plans involving former WWE NXT Diva Lindsay “Aloisa” Hayward. She is also known as Isis The Amazon.

One backstage source notes that the company got “cold feet” as it pertained to Hayward. She was originally set to play the role of Kurt Angle’s mistress as noted last night. No one reportedly informed her of the change in plans as she showed up at the TV taping and was not used.

As noted last night here on the website, TNA has no future plans for her. Of course, that could change. It should also be noted that Chyna was described as the “better of two really bad alternatives.” Chyna also appeared to be “clean and sober” and looked much healthier than in recent years. She is still not under contract as of this writing.
