Pinellas County Medical Examiner has confirmed that Randy Savage died from a serious “cardiac event” he suffered moments before wrecking his vehicle.
Savage suffered from cardiovascular disease, and the “cardiac event” was a result of the condition.
According to the toxicology report, Savage tested positive for alcohol and he opiate hydrocodone during the time of his death, but it is noted that they did not play a role in his death.
