After Raw went off the air, The Miz came down for his advertised WWE title bout against John Cena. They went back and forth. CM Punk, Sheamus and R Truth attacked Cena, who won via DQ. Steve Austin made the big save and laid everyone out with Stone Cold Stunners and a beer bash to close the taping.
There were loud “We want” Ryder chants all through the night in between segments and during the Santino vs. Sheamus bout. WWE really missed the boat by not doing something more prominent with him on the taping.
They were selling signed John Cena photos and the Edge retirement shirt last night.
The biggest reactions of the night went to Steve Austin and John Cena, followed by Zack Ryder. Sin Cara received one of the larger reactions of the night.
