Backstage ROH News: New Ring, Lynn Update, McGuinness

— Nigel McGuinness, as previously reported, is back with ROH as their color analyst. There was discussion of Adam Pearce trying to get the role but it didn’t work out. Kevin Kelly will be the lead announcer for the show.

— Jerry Lynn worked the TV tapings as an agent. Lynn is able to work for the company because he’s not under an active TNA deal. Daizee Haze also worked the taping in a backstage production aspect.

— OVW owner Danny Davis, who built the new ROH ring, was in attendance at the taping as were Maria Kanellis and Jackie Gayda-Haas.

— Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin have new theme music. The music was written and performed by a friend of Haas’.

— There were no injuries coming out of the four-hour tapings. Post-production is currently in progress in Maryland under the supervision of Jim Cornette.
