Billy Corgan To Open Wrestling Promotion, HBK Note

— Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins is opening his own independent wrestling promotion. Corgan has been a long-time fan of professional wrestling and dabbled in wrestling during a feud with Lou E. Dangerously in ECW. He is being billed as the creative director for the promotion, dubbed Resistance Pro and will make an official announcement at Wizard World Chicago in mid-August regarding plans for the promotion.

— In December, an E-Book titled “Diary of the Heartbreak Kid” by Shawn Michaels and Craig Tello will be released. No word at this time of the book will receive a traditional release.
