According to sources, before his accident over the weekend, Matt Hardy was cited for reckless driving and is scheduled for an October 11th court date.
As previously reported, Hardy was traveling south in his 2009 Chevrolet Corvette on Saturday when it ran off the road and struck a culvert pipe and a tree. He was released from his TNA contract following the incident, and will appear in court on September 28th to face charges of driving while impaired and exceeding the safe speed while driving.
