— The dark main event after this week’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Calgary saw Randy Orton beat Christian in a Street Fight with Bret Hart as the special referee.
Triple H came out before the match, put over Calgary and brought out Bret Hart. Christian refused to wrestle until Triple H tossed him into the ring. Orton won with the RKO and after the match, Bret put Christian in the Sharpshooter.
— Independent wrestler Sterling James Keenan is signed to a WWE developmental deal and began working at FCW last week.
— As noted before, Todd Grisham has left WWE to work at ESPN. There had been talk of Grisham leaving the company for a few months now as his duties with WWE were cut back over the past year.
