We noted earlier this week here on the website that Kevin Nash was not at RAW this week because he is currently filming a movie called Magic Mike in California. WWE wrote him off TV at Night of Champions with the Triple H sledgehammer shot. It should be noted that Nash is still expected to headline a WWE pay-per-view before the end of this year.
We can now confirm that the movie wasn’t the reason he was pulled from his original scheduled match with CM Punk at the Night of Champions pay-per-view. Nash had a medical issue that WWE would probably have overlooked in the past but because of their strict medical policies now, they wouldn’t overlook it this time around. WWE needed to clear up the unknown medical issue before they would allow Nash to do a match. Of course, they did let him do the run-in at Night of Champions.
