Top Women’s Wrestler Named, Aksana-SD!, Vickie’s Site

— Pro Wrestling Illustrated has ranked SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles No. 1 in the “2011 PWI Female 50,” their annual list ranking the top 50 women’s wrestlers in the United States.

“I am honestly very surprised and honored,” Eagles said when she was informed she had landed the top spot. “There are so many great wrestlers, and being recognized at the top of this list is an epic moment for me.”

The top 50 list will be revealed in the November 2011 issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated.

— The official WWE website added Aksana to the SmackDown roster today. The former NXT Rookie Diva returned to WWE programming on the August 5 episode of SmackDown.

— Vickie Guerrero announced on Twitter that her official website, www.MyVickieGuerrero.com, will be launched tomorrow.
