Dolph Ziggler’s Brother Screws Him Over, Helms/Flair

— WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder appeared at the FCW show in Orlando on Friday night. Both cut promos on each other before a “Special Attraction Tag Match” which saw Ryder team with SmackDown! Superstar Johnny Curtis to defeat Ziggler and Brad Maddox. Ziggler’s real-life brother, Briley Pierce, was in their corner but on crutches. He accidentally hit Dolph with a crutch, leading to the finish.

— We noted yesterday that former WWE stars Edge and Mick Foley will be appearing at the Comedy Zone in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 5th for a benefit to help Gregory Helms with his medical bills from his motorcycle accident a few months back. Foley will be doing stand-up. Ric Flair will also be appearing, schedule permitting. Helms noted on Twitter that Flair was having surgery that day but is going to try and be there. Several other stars including Reby Sky, TNA’s Gunner, former WCW star Lodi and others will also be there.

— While Paul Heyman’s autobiography has been pushed back to 2012, it is still scheduled to be released as an Ebook this November.
