From Joe Stein
Dark Match:
Titus O’Neil and Percy Watson lost to Epico and Primo. Decent opener.
Superstars:
Ted DiBiase defeated Drew McIntyre. Dibiase got a really nice reaction.
Alex Riley, with another decent reaction, lost to Michael McGillicutty.
Raw:
CM Punk was super over. In the opening segment when Punk said he couldn’t hear John Laurinaitis, he was serious. I couldn’t hear a thing he said.
During the first commercial, Zach Ryder came out only to be called to the back by Johnny Ace, Ryder then came back out when live again.
There was nothing else of note during commercials except showing fans signs during one break.
All faces were really over. The biggest heat went to Vickie and Laurinaitis. Cole got a great bit of heat during his entrance. Big pops for Booker T and King. Crowd was into it all night.
Cena got a monster reaction, a mix of cheers and boos.
Post Raw dark match:
Randy Orton, Big Show and John Cena took on The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. Miz walked out early on and the faces won sending face fans home happy.
Interesting note: Cena cut a promo about how he loves that the WWE Universae can speak freely and cheer or boo him, yet production crew members take anti Cena signs from fans… makes no sense.
From Eric J. Calcaraand:
It was a great crowd. CM Punk got a huge ovation during his speech and endless CM Punk chants during his match.
Sheamus was madly over. He slaps hands with everyone, even if you don’t extend your hand to him. He will tap you on the wrist as he walks by.
Booker T spent over 20 minutes wiping himself dry repeatedly after Cody threw the water at him. Cody was getting quite a few pops from the crowd.
John Cena was getting booed like crazy at the arena. There were also a lot of “Cena Sucks” signs.
After RAW went off the air, there was a 6-man tag match featuring John Cena, Randy Orton, and Big Show vs. Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and The Miz (who came back out in his street clothes). The Miz started the match, but soon left his tag partners Ziggler and Swagger behind. The match ended with Jack Swagger receiving finishers from all 3 men on the opposing team.
Cena, Orton, and Show spent a lot of time afterwards walking around the ring and interacting with the fans and soldiers in attendance. Lots of signs were autographed and photos were taken. John Cena was hugging a lot of kids! And I was booing them all.
Another great show! Thank you, WWE!!!
