Mick Foley will host next Tuesday’s live WWE SmackDown episode on Syfy. The official website of the Time Warner Cable Arena website is billing the episode as a “Smackdown Live Holiday Special.” The company has yet to begin promoting the show, but they will start tonight at the SmackDown tapings and then next week on RAW.
The company will likely announce some “PPV-quality matches” for the show at tonight’s tapings. The Time Warner website is also advertising a Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Mark Henry and Randy Orton. Booker T will be the special guest referee. This may be a post-broadcast dark match. Henry’s specific status is unknown due to the injury angle that was run at Survivor Series.
