— We noted last week here on the website that WWE and SyFy have been in talks to run several more live Tuesday SmackDown specials. They have been talking about doing some in the early part of 2012 as a build for WrestleMania 28. As far as a permanent live Tuesday SmackDown time slot is concerned, Syfy is holding off on that for now as they currently want their Tuesday night programming to stay the same.
— The Rock is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Power Slam. The cover features a headline reading: “Has the WWE system failed? Why aren’t new stars breaking through?”
— Several members of the New York Knicks NBA basketball team are backstage visiting at Survivor Series. Numerous other celebrities are backstage as well. More shortly.
— SITE NOTE: Please be sure to stay tuned to the website over the next few days. Things are going to get EXTREMELY busy with Survivor Series tonight, RAW tomorrow and the SD!/NXT tapings on Tuesday. We’ll be close to WrestleMania numbers as it pertains to news and rumors. Check back in as often as possible as it’s about to get crazy.
