“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”

We’re across the pond (unless you’re already across the pond, then….nevermind) and RAW is packed and we start with….JEEEEAAAAHHHHNNNNN CEEEENNNNAAAAA!!!! Boos and cheers even in Liverpool. He calls the crowd lively as the boos and cheers battle each other out. He claims that he is upset. A lot’s been going on. Wrestlemania is on sale. He namedrops The Rock and the crowd gets a Rocky chant, then Cena says he couldn’t make it tonight but did accept the invitatino to be his partner. So, in two weeks, for the first time ever, The Rock and Cena will team up! This brings him to why he is angry. The entire universe is talking about The Rock returning to RAW. He thinks they should be talking about tonight, not next week. He claims that tonight is important. It’s the very first time Liverpool has hosted RAW. Tonight, he and a future WWE Hall of Famer are going head to head with Miz and Truth!

The Miz questions it with Nick Bazar’s favorite taunt, EVAR and says that he’s been hearing all week how Cena embarrassed them last week, but all last week was, was an up the ante. Yes, he beat him last week but he did something that so many other people couldn’t do and that was to pin him at Wrestlemania to keep the title. He says that he has watched last week over and over again and he’s pissed, because that is the last time that either he or Truth are embarrassed again. Tonight, they will leave him with a lasting impression that they will never forget.

R-Truth asks if Cena knows what it’s like to have all the Lil Jimmy’s laughing at him! The crowd what’s him and Truth ain’t taking it. haha. He says that come Survivor Series, nobody will be laughing and come tonight, Cena won’t be laughing either. Whoever he teams up with, they gonna get got!

Cena says to hide ya kids and wife, an American joke in Liverpool….he says to look at The Miz and how pissed off he is. He wants everyone to know that his partner isn’t a regular superstar. He goes on about who it may be before The Miz cuts him off and says “It Doesn’t Matter Who You’re Teaming Up Against!” He drops the mic and it looks like we’re getting an attack….but Zack Ryder’s music hits and he flies down the ramp to help Cena who is being attacked! Cena tosses Miz over the top rope while Ryder hits Truth with a Ruff Ryder. The crowd WOO WOO WOO’s!! haha. Delightful!

Match 1: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison
Lockup to start as Dolph shoots for the leg. Morrison with a wrist lock from behind, but Dolph reverses into a modified Side Russian into a pin for 2. Dolph with a side chin lock but Morrison reverses into a snapmare into a sideheadlock. Dolph with the head scissors and Morrison kips up. They repeat the same sequence twice more then Dolph kicks Morrison in the gut. Dolph with a whip, but Morrison slips under hum and hits a flapjack and a pin for 1. Morrison grabs the head but there’s Ziggler with a jawbreaker. Arm breaker and Dolph rolls Morrison into a pin. Dolph with an elbow drop and a pin for 1…2..no. Dolph goes for a back suplex but Morrison lands on his feet, hits the apron, slips back in the ring and hits a kick to the forehead of Dolph, sending him to the outside. Morrison hits the ropes but Dolph is quick to get back into the ring and hit a hard clothesline and a pin for 1…2..

We are back and Dolph is dropping some soft forearms to the face of Morrison. He has Morrison’s arm bent back but there’s Morrison with a right. Too bad, because Ziggler just drops his ass and holds his knee to the back of Morrison’s head. Dolph drops an elbow to the upper neck. Pin for 1…2..nope! Dolph hits a dropkick then pins for 2. Dolph with another dropkick and he pins for 2. Ziggler messes with Morrison, toying with him on the ground, but Morrison sends Dolph to the corner and runs right into an elbow! Ziggler with a pin but only gets a 2. Ziggler locks in an armbar then a modified cross face. He drops another elbow onto Morrison’s head. Ouch! He’s really going to town on Morrison’s neck and head. Ziggler with the cravat still locked in, stands and goes for a hard right, but Morrison ducks and rolls Ziggler up for two! Ziggler with a clothesline and another chinlock. Crowd is half pro Ziggler. Ziggler goes for a neckbreaker but Morrison sends Ziggler to the ropes. He deflects a clothesline and Morrison with a slingshot into the turnbuckle! Morrison with a couple clotheslines and a heel kick! Ziggler goes for somethin but Morrison hits a nice ass DDT! He pins for 1…2..no! Morrison sets up Ziggler for Starship Pain, but Ziggler moves and Morrison lands on his feet. Ziggler with a quick Sunset Flip for 2. Morrison goes quick with a knee but Ziggler ducks and rolls him up for a pin! 1….2..NO! Ziggler quickly rolls up Morrison also for a 1…2..NO! Ziggler goes for the Zig Zag (or Sleeper) but Morrison holds onto the ropes! Morrison hits the ropes and BAM Springboard Enziguri! He goes for a pin but Vickie is distracting the ref! Morrison with the roll up….1….2….3!!!! Morrison with the surprise win.
Winner: John Morrison (***)
This was much slower than I thought and only picked up at the end. Far more restholds than I expected from these two but still a solid match and check out who got the win!

We are informed of a Team Barrett vs Team Orton match for Survivor Series.

Match 1: Mason Ryan vs. JTG
JTG is all like, HI HATER but Ryan sends his ass to the mat. Lockup and he sends him to the mat again. JTG sends him t othe rope and Mason comes flying back with a hard push. JTG in the corner. Ryan goes for a clothesline but JTG moves. JTG mounts for the mugshot but Mason sends him to the mat then clotheslines him. He lifts him up and starts dropping the back onto his shoulder then tosses JTG to the corner. Shoulder blocks to the gut of JTG then he lifts him like nothing and sends him to the corner and hits a clothesline. Ryan tosses JTG across the mat again. JTG tries to fight back but JTG hits a big boot. Ryan gets all angry and presses JTG then slams him. We got a full nelson locked in, turned into a Full Nelson slam and a pin for 3.
Winner: Mason Ryan (*1/2)
JTG go squishy. Boring, still don’t care about Mason Ryan.

In the back, The Bellas are talking about The Beatles when Ryder comes into the picture. He does a WOO WOO WOO with The Bellas and tells both of them to call him.

We are back and it appears that the Michael Cole challenge will not be this week. He says he has an e-mail from the TSA saying that JR was apprehended and escorted out of the airport due to excessive BBQ. So, this will be delayed until next week…oh, I had my hopes.

Match 2: Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston
ALberot starts with a hard kick! He grabs the arm of Kofi but Kofi kicks the leg from the ground. Irish Whip but Del Rio holds the ropes. Del Rio witha clothesline but Kofi dropkicks Del Rio, sending Del Rio to the outside. Kofi dives through the ropes but Del Rio moves and Kofi eats the mat! Ouch! Del Rio with a hard kick then sends Kofi inside the ring. Del Rio works the arm hard as Kofi tries to fight out of it. Del RIo with some hard headbutts. He rushes the corner and runs into Kofi’s foot. Kofi with a flying cross body and pins for a 2! Kofi looks for a spinning kick but Del Rio ducks. He sends Kofi shoulder first into the corner then we get the Single arm DDT! Del Rio locks in the armbar and we get a submission
Winner: Alberto Del Rio (**)
Del Rio looked quite upset here and it worked. The match was short, but that’s what they were going for. I only hope that they’re not punishing Kofi for Evan’s misdoings.

After the match, Del Rio locks in the arm bar again. The ref tries to break it up but Del Rio won’t let go. Punk’s music hits and he comes to the top of the ramp as we go to break.

We come back to Del Rio mid-sentence. He says he’s glad Punk has the balls to come face him like a man. According to Ace, Punk was supposed to ASK him but instead he came down to the ring and waited until Del Rio was knocked out and like a coward, forced him to give him that opportunity. The crowd chants loudly and Del Rio says not to look at that because they don’t matter. They are a joke, just like Punk. They are pathetic and ugly like Punk. The most important thing is that no one cares about them or Punk. Del Rio is not a joke. The crowd is VERY Pro Punk here. Del Rio says that he needs to pay attention. Otunga told him that because of last week, he has the opportunity to ask him to cancel the match. He tells Punk to cancel the match or he will force him to.

CM Punk on the stick. The crowd LOVES him. He says “My Bad” before saying that this is just how he thought they did things here. He knows that he was to get in line and politely ask, so he’s sorry. He apologizes. But, Del Rio, how did you become WWE Champion? He cashed in the MITB briefcase after Nash powerbombed him then beat him with a lead pipe at HIAC. So, maybe, Punk should have asked politely but with Del Rio being a weasely, slimy, greasy, cheapshot artist….it worked and that’s why he did it to Del Rio. Del Rio says that he is the WWE Champion and Punk and the people will treat him with respect. Punk says he is right, he is the WWE Champion. He is a hell of a competitor, but he’s also a lot of other things. He is one-dimensional, with his destiny crap. Del Rio has nothing interesting to say. He says people fast forward Del Rio and when they do that, they don’t miss a damned thing. Del Rio calls him a dog but Punk cuts him off and he says to listen to him. He’s a hell of a competitor, but at Survivor Series, he’s going to do what Del Rio has consistently failed to do and that’s make the WWE Championship interesting again. Del Rio doesn’t care what he thinks or what the people thinks. He is the best in the world because he’s got the title. Not Punk, Del Rio. So, for the last time…are you cancelling the match or not?

Punk mockingly thinks about it for a long time…then says NO. Del Rio is like, “Aight then, Dawg!” and cheap shots Punk before trying to lock in the cross armbreaker! Punk gets out of it and locks in the Anaconda Vice! Rodriguez is there to break it up and gets a Go 2 Sleep for his troubles!

Match 4: Jack Swagger vs. Santino
A nice little cut promo from Swagger during his entrance. All Muppets banned from ringside. Swagger shoots for the legs, but Santino falls back on the ropes to break the hold. Swagger with a go bnehind into a belly to back. Santino rolls to the ropes. Santino with a back elbow. Swagger with a big right and stomps on Santino. Swagger sends Santino to the corner and Swagger goes for a clothesline. Santino moves though and gets some rights on Swagger. Swagger comes back with a body slam, though. Swagger with a pin for 1…2..no! Swagger with a nice side suplex and a foot to the throat of Santino. Swagger with a underhook from behind, looking for the submission but Santino fights out. Swagger drops a forearm to the back of Santino then looks for the leg drop, but Santino moves! Santino with three rights and a back elbow. He ducks a whip but Swagger with a Belly to Belly! He sends Santino into the corner then grabs the ankle and locks it in! Santino taps out as Swagger continues to hold it in.
Winner: Jack Swagger (**1/2)
I thought this match was pretty good, all things considered.

Kelly is walking in the back.

We come back to Jerry “The King” Lawler in the middle of the ring and he let’s us know that Maxim Magazine will be everywhere (in the United States) soon. We are going to get the reveal of the cover. Kelly says that she started here five years ago and has since grown so much. She thanks the WWE Universe for always being there before getting interrupted by Beth Phoenix and Natalya who are mocking her by thanking the crowd for being a Barbie. Natalya name drops Barbie’s little sister, Skipper. haha. Kelly is all like, “girl, you be trippin.” Beth says the only reason why she is out there is to set an example to all the little girls out there that this is a false impression of what it takes to being a WWE Diva. It takes more than just a pretty face and a bucket full of perkiness. Natalya says she’s going to make Kelly cry! They get in her face but out comes Eve and Rihanna Alicia Fox! Natalya and Beth bounce. Eve says this is Kelly’s moment, dagnabit. We get a drum roll and Eve and Alicia do the honosrs of exposing the cover. Ok, I’m trying but I can’t find the bunny anywhere on the cover….

Here comes Johnny Ace who is happy to introduce to all of us….Kevin Nash! Nash is out with the nWo music. We get a replay of two weeks ago when Nash and Triple H tried to win an Emmy.

Nash thanks Johnny for bringing him back, and did you know that EVERYONE has been asking Nash “Why, Nash, Why?!” He says he doesn’t owe anyone an explanation but Triple H. He says that in 96 when Triple H came through, he should have buried him then. But Michaels saved his ass. Nash let him in. He won Nash over though, and they had a real friendship. He was honored to be at Triple H’s wedding. Then, the Rumble comes up. He gets the biggest pop of the night, calls Triple H and asks about putting the band together. He didn’t even get an answer, though. Triple H betrayed Nash. In Nash’s eyes, Triple H is still the measuring stick round here and he doesn’t want no damned Legend’s contract! He’s still got it! He took Triple H’s sledgehammer and used it against him. He contemplated for hours, wondering how it would feel and damnit it felt good. Triple H sat there like a helpless little child. As far as Nash is concerned, he just showed everyone how you play “the Game.” Nice promo work, I think.

We get a video package for Brodus Clay who was supposedly going to be here tonight, but it appears that was false advertising.

Otunga is in the back with Johnny Ace. He congratulates him on signing Nash. Otunga asks about Brodus and Ace says that he’s special and cannot bring him out here in the UK where people don’t matter. He’s waiting for the US. Punk interjects and says thanks for giving him the advice last week. Otunga chuckles and Punk asks what’s so funny. Otunga says that he doesn’t see the WWE Champ as someone who looks like he works at a gas station. Punk then says that’s almost as cheesy as his joke, “What would you like sir, Regular (holds up left fist) or unleaded (holds up right)” then socks Otunga. hahahaha! Beautiful! He attacks Otunga but Del Rio is there to attack Punk! Ace stands by yelling for Del Rio to stop, saying “don’t make me take off my jacket!” haha.

Match 5: The Awesome Truth vs. You Can’t See Me and You Know it
We start with Cena and Truth. Truth with a side headlock. They hit the ropes and Cena hits a shoulderblock. Truth tags in The Miz. Cena shoots for a single leg and trips up Miz. He sends Miz to the corner and hits some rights then sends him into the opposite corner and body splashes him. Cena hits the ropes and we get a clothesline. Pin for 1 as the “We Want Ryder” chants start up. Miz tags in Truth. Cena is about to tag Ryder but Truth gets all Cray. Cena pushes Truth down then as Truth says he wants Ryder. Truth is back in, asking for the test of strength but Cena tags in Ryder. The crowd is solidly behind him. Truth with a kick and a side headlock. Ryder hits the ropes. Double shoulder block. Irish whip right into a flapjack. Ryder sends Truth to the outside, hard as we go to break.

We are back and Miz and Ryder are in the ring. Ryder with a dropkick form the top rope and a cover for 2!!! Tag to Cena and they get a double arm drag onto The Miz. Cena sneds Miz to the ropes and Miz kicks him in the chest. Miz stsomps Cena in the corner then distracts the ref so Truth can get some cheapshots in. Tag to Truth and they hit a double shoulderblock and a pin for 1…2. Truth with a cravat from behind then sends him to the corner for some hard rights. The crowd chants for Ryder again. Awesome. Truth with a pin for 1…2..NO! Truth with another cravat. Truth with a front suplex and a pin for 2. Truth tags in Miz and Miz kicks Cena in the gut while Truth holds onto him. Miz with some left hands to Cena. Miz chokes up Cena on the ropes then hits some high knees to the chest of Cena, hits the ropes and hits another high knee. Miz tags in Truth and Truth hits a hard right to the side of Cena. We get a submission from Truth with an arm stretch.Cena is fighting out of it….almost…NO! Truth drops an elbow and tags in Miz. Dueling chants for Cena as Miz tosses Truth to Cena. Cena moves, dives for a tag and Ryder comes in hot! He goes up top, double knee to Miz. He calls Cena in with the glasses and they do a Double Bro Kick to the corner complete with WOO WOO WOO’s. Ryder looks for the Ruff Ryder but Truth distracts and hits him in the back. Mizz attacks, tags in Truth and we get a double team move. Truth is behind Ryder with a chinlock. “Let’s Go Ryder! WOO WOO WOO” chants. Ryder with a dropkick but it’s missed! Truth with a pin for 1…2…NO! Truth tags in Miz and we get a double flapjack onto the ropes. Miz with a hard right then some stomps. Miz with some hard forearms to the back of Ryder as he cinches the headlock. Ryder reaches for the pin but Miz ain’t having it and sends some knees into Ryder. Miz sets up for a suplex but Ryder with a roll up!!!! 1….2..NO!
Miz kicks Ryder to the ocrner then hits his patented clothesline!! Miz tags in Truth and Truth with a kick to the gut. We get a double boot from Miz and Truth. That was cool. Truth with some rights, just wailing on Ryder. He locks in another cravat from behind. Truth lets go just to punch Ryder in the face a few times before cinching in the hold again. Both are up now but it’s short lived as they both hit a clothesline on each other. Each man reaching for the tag now. Cena is in! The Miz is in! Cena with a shoulder block, and another. Proto-plex! Another onto R-Truth! Both men are down. He calls in Ryder to join him for this. We get a TEN Knuckle Shuffle! Ryder sends Truth outside but Truth pulls Ryder out!. Cena goes for the AA but Miz falls off, hits the ropes and comes flying back with a haaard boot to the face! He pins! 1…2…AH, TRUTH IS HOLDING DOWN THE LEG OF CENA!!!…3!!!!!
