It has been confirmed that WWE Classics On Demand, WWE’s subscription video on demand television service, is being completely shutdown on January 1, 2012. The move was announced to company staffers today.
The move was designed to bolster the strength of the WWE Network when it debuts in April.
WWE has yet to make an official announcement to fans about the service being discontinued, although some cable providers have begun informing subscribers.
