Funaki Returns To WWE, Foley News & Notes, More

— Former WWE Diva Trinity turns 40 years old Thursday. She joined the revived ECW brand in June 2006 but was released a year later.

— Mick Foley is the latest guest in Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling Podcast, which you can listen to at www.welovecolt.com. CM Punk and Cliff Compton also appear on the show.

— As noted earlier, former WWE Superstar Yoshihiro Tajiri was backstage visiting at today’s WWE RAW live event in Japan.

— Longtime WWE performer Sho Funaki worked the RAW live event today in Yokohama, Japan. Funaki was the special referee for a match between Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly. After the match, The Miz interrupts Funaki and told him to get out of the ring. Funaki left WWE in April of 2010 after 12 years with the company.

Another match of interest from today’s show saw John Cena and Big Show defeat the team of Kevin Nash and The Miz.
