Rima Fakih will head to court on December 21sr to face her misdemeanor drunken driving charge. Fakih was arrested December 3rd for suspicion of drunk driving after she blew a 0.20, which is more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 and faces up to 93 days in jail if convicted. Her lawyer released the following statement…
“She is taking full responsibility. She wants to apologize to everybody she let down … She is very remorseful and very apologetic to all those she let down. She definitely regrets being in the situation that led her to the circumstances she is in now.”
Fakih was Miss Michigan, and went on to win Miss USA in 2010, becoming the first Arab American to win the pageant. Fakih also spent time on the WWE’s Tough Enough show.
