The following was just posted on WWE.com:
BALTIMORE – WWE physician Chris Amann has provided WWE.com with an injury update on Kevin Nash, who had to be carted out of the 1st Mariner Arena on a stretcher after falling to his former friend Triple H in a chaotic Sledgehammer Ladder Match at WWE TLC.
“With the impact of the sledgehammer, Kevin sustained multiple contusions over his body,” Dr. Amann said. “Of most significance was a nasal fracture he sustained when he was struck in the face by the implement.”
Based on diagnoses made at a Baltimore medical facility Nash was rushed to following the match, the former WWE Champion will require at least six weeks without contact. During that time, he will likely be required to wear a brace to protect his nose while it heals.
Stay tuned to WWE.com for updates on Kevin Nash’s condition.
We reported earlier this morning that a source close to Kevin Nash claims he feels his match with Triple H at WWE TLC was his retirement match. WWE could always decide to bring him back for another feud but Nash is under the impression that’s it. Nash posted the following on Twitter last night: “Thanks Paul, nice to end it with someone I love.”
More as we get it but it appears he’ll be returning to WWE in some capacity once the “out for six weeks” injury storyline concludes.
