CM Punk Pulled From UFC On FOX 2

CM Punk will not be escorting Chael Sonnen to the Octagon for his fight in UFC on FOX 2, which will take place in Chicago.

CM Punk confirmed that Vince McMahon pulled him from making the cameo appearance. WWE sources said that the original deal for him to appear at the event was not brokered with the UFC. It was an arrangement that Punk and Sonnen had set up themselves. Sonnen invited the WWE Champion to appear and Punk agreed, asking for the date off from a scheduled house show.
