TNA president Dixie Carter says she hasn’t talked to Hulk Hogan in a while. Carter told the Daily Star while promoting the upcoming London iMPACT! tapings that Hogan “knows what’s going on (in TNA) – he’s a businessman, and he knows that it’s an important date for us. He will be eyeing that very carefully. He’s been gone from the scene. My goal would be to have him there.”
Carter also said that she thought this would be Sting’s final year as a wrestler. She said that “it feels very final” and that his appearance in London, his first in ten years, will be “an emotional night.” She added, “In his mind, I think this is his last year as far as the wrestling is concerned. When we booked this, that’s the way he was talking about it – ‘I haven’t played there in a decade, and before I retire I need to come back there and wrestle.’ Based on where he’s at and what he’s saying, barring something extraordinary this is the last time.”
