— As we noted yesterday here on the website, Evan Bourne may not be returning to WWE after his 60 day Wellness Policy violation suspension. Most inside WWE believe Bourne will be released, since a third violation by Bourne would result in a one-year suspension or termination, making it difficult for WWE to invest in him long-term and promote him on TV.
— Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis is set to host “Shinerfest” at Mateel Community Center in Redway, CA on Saturday. She is teaming with Diamondback Entertainment to host the concert. Maria talks about some of her upcoming projects in an interview with Times-Standard.com.
— Here’s a trailer for a new short film called They Came For Stiff which is out this week. It is about independent wrestler Sami Callihan facing former WWE wrestler/agent Fit Finlay at EVOLVE 9 in New York City in July. It features interviews with Callihan, Finlay, new DGUSA champion Johnny Gargano, and other independent wrestlers.
