The film stars Gagne as the reigning AWA World champion facing down challenger Billy Taylor (Robinson) and has appearances from Vince McMahon Sr., Superstar Billy Graham, Ric Flair, Mike Graham, Dusty Rhodes, The Crusher, The Bruiser and Dick Murdoch among others. Ed Asner co-stars as the promoter. The screening will be attended by both Verne and Greg Gagne, pending Verne’s health condition. Greg has said that his father won’t be able to do much autograph signing but will be there to shake hands. It is reportedly Verne’s first public appearance in years.
